Fishing calendar - week 19.
Fishing conditions basically remain the same, as in the previous period, until the weather stabilizes. During the lush flowering of plums, the development of aquatic and terrestrial insects is clearly more intense, thanks to which, in trout waters, we switch to fishing with artificial flies, We use spinning only in cloudy water or very early in the morning. We start to use streamers and loaded nymphs. In non-trout waters, they bite more and more hungry eels, which at a temperature of approx 10 ° C are actively looking for food. During this time, they stay near the shores, in the shallows and in overgrown places. Graylings also start to take on more intensively, which are still protected at that time. That is why we have to put the caught fish back into the water as carefully as possible. In order not to damage their delicate epidermis, grasp them with a wet hand and a wet landing net. In situation, when we dry fly fishing and we see, that it is attacked by grayling, by jerking the rod, we prevent him from grabbing the bait, thus avoiding the troublesome unhooking it from the hook and releasing it into the water. Please note, that we never tear flies out of the mouth of a fish, but we gently undermine it - it is the so-called. palpitations. Tweezers are very helpful in this activity, ejector and retractor. Thanks to these tools, we will recover an undamaged fly, especially her feathers and the wrapper.
