We usually get good catch results in the first month of the fishing season in non-trout waters, if the weather is at least slightly favorable. At this time, they mainly eat carp, bream, chubs and ropes. Eel is also caught during this period. Fish take well on lothworms and dead fish. Zander are taking better and better, especially very early in the morning and in the evening after sunset. We use a dead fish or a part of it as bait (filet) put on the bottom. We use resin on the deep desserts (do 10 cm in length), placed in the middle or top layer of water. Pike at this time do not bite as well as in the fall. We fish for chubs in quiet parts of the waters, mainly for fresh cherries and live insects (e.g.. beetles). From time to time you can also have fun catching fish with artificial flies.
