Casting is a sports discipline. Casting from English means "throwing" or "throwing", it is therefore referred to in Poland as casting fishing and consists in throwing a light bow tie or a weight at the target, which are special shields filled with water. Appropriate accuracy or the distance of throws made with the rod are assessed. It is a discipline, which uses basic fishing techniques such as fly and spinning.

Casting, derived from amateur fishing, it had its origins in Europe at the end of the 19th century; in Poland it has been present since 1950 year, that is, since the Polish Angling Association was founded in the country. The competition is played in two basic categories - women and men.
Over 50 The medals of the world championships have already been completed by the Polish representative, having just 26 years, Magdalena Coming, who is therefore the grandmaster of this sport.
She has been involved in this sport since she was a child. She had great preparation due to the fact, that her father, Jacek Kuza, he is both a competitor, as well as a throw angling trainer in Poland. Magdalena had her first competition when she was only five years old, but it was only in the second and third years of primary school that she did it professionally. Over the years, training and racing have become her daily bread, perfectly matching the curriculum vitae.
W 2006 year for the first time Magdalena Coming qualified for the world junior championship, So it was a turning point. W 2008 year while she began to win medals of this event, to qualify for the senior tournament. So things turned quite professional.

The greatest success was met by Magdalena Kuza in 2017 year. She won gold at the senior world championship and at the same time broke the world record in casting.
In an interview for "Magazyn Sportowiec", Magdalena Kuza confessed, that almost always when asked, what he does in life, he has to answer first by explaining what casting is in its essence. It should be noted here, that the Polish grandmaster of throw angling is one of the very positive people. E.g, to questions about your career development, Mrs. Magdalena admitted, that start of the year 2018 was one of her worst, even though she managed to win two individual medals. The competitor linked this peculiar insufficiency with the absence of her coach in the starts, which is an extremely titled coach and player, that is Jacek Kuza, Mrs. Magdalena's father.
In the meantime, let's direct more light to the sport of casting fishing itself. This may come as a surprise, but there are already about twenty clubs in Poland. The Polish Cup cycle is played, which includes five professions. They are still, important thing - the Polish championship. This makes a total of eight national occupations per year. He is at such competitions, which is worth emphasizing, from fifty to as many as seventy players. Casting also takes place at the Youth Angling Olympics. Young people up to the age of sixteen start there.
